When you arrive at our clinic, you can expect to find a clean comfortable facility in a quiet rural setting. You will see horses in the east pasture and an alfalfa field to the west. Please drive in slowly as other owners may be walking their pet along the drive or a horse may be receiving care in the barn treatment area.
You will see the same doctors every time that you visit and we will get to know you by name the more often we see you.
At least once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up which will include a full physical exam. Dr. Grentz or Dr. Ray will check your pet over from head to tail, and will make suggestions for care based on their findings. They will give you options to choose from in effort to accommodate you and your pets situation.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our clinic. It’s best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important.
In some circumstances, our doctors will need to refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology or surgery.
